FERAL UTOPIAS

Feral Utopias is a multi-channel animation installed with a sound piece crafted from studio recordings of queer subjects and scans of 19th century etchings produced as colonial naturalists documented North American landscapes. Participants in the project reflect on what species provide a sense of home to them and their own contested identities in a post-colonial landscape.
