Other Cities
Other Cities is a collaborative book project created through my "Zines, Comics, and Books" course at University of Minnesota (UMN) and Abbey Mei Otis's "Speculative Fiction" class through the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop (MPWW). Students in the MPWW classes wrote short pieces of speculative fiction describing imaginary cities and UMN students illustrated those stories to be printed on a risograph. The project was funded by a generous grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board and research funds from the University of Minnesota. The book was printed by Destiny Bilges, Camila Leiva, and Micky Kurtzman.
